@LemingtonFilms i got an AT2020 mic for 90 bucks at Amazon, and the pop filters run about 15, and the mic is about 30. For the headphones, it is all about preference, so that is subjective. Hope that helped!!!

@jintaiyen777 So the artist can hear the music they are singing/rapping to without the microphone catching it.

“Use an electric condenser microphone and a pop filter to get the highest possible quality for vocals”,I get killer vocal with my Sm58 which is a dynamic mic. there is nothing wrong with a Condenser mic, but if you don’t have your room properly treated instead of getting a good vocal you’ll will be getting car noise even dogs barking. For me, there is no way to get a killer vocal without knowing what you exactly want. Maybe you need the sound of Sm7b and your Newman sound will suck for that
